| 中文摘要:中药硝石在古代应用广泛，具有较高的药用价值，但现代临床应用较少，濒于名存实亡。为了矿物药资源的继承和发展，基于硝石的古代文献对硝石功效进行整理，将其归纳为7类，即止痛、解毒消肿、去腐生肌、化痰软坚散结、开窍辟秽、利湿退黄、温里活血。现代医学研究证明，硝石电离后产生的硝酸根阴离子（NO3–）具有重要的生理功能和防治疾病的作用。硝石的古代应用和现代研究均提示其是一种疗效确切的矿物药。建议采用现代研究方法对硝石的药理活性和毒性进行再评价，恢复其在中医临床中的应用。 |

| Textual Research on Efficacy of Niter Based on Ancient Medical Books |

| Abstract:Niter, a Chinese medicine with a high medicinal value, was widely used in ancient times of China, but now it is rarely used in clinical practice, and is on the verge of survival in name only. In order to inherit and develop mineral medicine resources, this paper summarized the efficacy of Niter based on ancient medical books into the following seven categories: relieving pain, removing toxins and relieving swelling, eliminating necrotic tissues and promoting granulation,resolving phlegm, softening hardness, and dissipating mass, opening orifice and dispelling filth, eliminating dampness and resisting icterus, and warming interior and activating blood circulation. Modern medical research has proved that nitric acid anion (NO3–) produced after Niter ionization has important physiological functions and the role of prevention and treatment of diseases. The ancient application and modern research on Niter suggest that it is a mineral medicine with definite curative effect. It is necessary to re-evaluate the pharmacological activity and toxicity of Niter by modern research methods to restore its clinical application in traditional Chinese medicine. |
