| Mineral Medicinal-containing Prescriptions for External Treatment and Mechanisms: A Review |

| Abstract:Mineral medicinal, a characteristic part of Chinese medicine, is of important medical value. External treatment of traditional Chinese medicine has a long history in China and has formed a unique system. This paper summarized the mineral medicinal-containing prescriptions for external treatment in Ancient and Modern Medical Guide, which is expected to provide a new mindset for the tapping and clinical application of such prescriptions. At the same time, we comprehensively summed up the mechanisms of commonly used mineral medicinals and preparations containing mineral medicinals for external treatment based on nearly 30 years of research reports, hoping to provide a reference for the further development and application of mineral medicinals and preparations containing mineral medicinals. |
