| Registration Policies for Varieties of Chinese Medicinal Materials |

| Abstract:Elite varieties are the core of modern seed industry. There are abundant varieties of Chinese medicinal materials, while the variety breeding starts rather late and the supporting policies and regulations are not sound. The management policies for varieties of Chinese medicinal materials are urgently needed to ensure the development of the seed industry. We summarize the general situation of the variety system and variety protection situations of crops, trees, grasses, and Chinese medicinal materials and then propose a suggestion for speeding up the establishment of the registration system for varieties of Chinese medicinal materials varieties, which is expected to support the development of the seed industry of Chinese medicinal materials. |
