Abstract:Saussurea involucrata is one of the traditional Chinese herbal medicines, mainly distributed in the western highland areas of China, and widely used in the ethnic minority areas of China. Through methods such as high-performance liquid chromatography, anion exchange and gel permeation chromatography, various compounds have been isolated from the snowdrop lily, including flavonoids, sesquiterpenoid lactones and their glycosides, phenylpropanoids, polysaccharides, and lignans. The Saussurea involucrata has pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory and analgesic, protection of nerves, anti-tumor, anti-radiation, anti-obesity and immune regulation. The research progress of Saussurea involucrata in recent years was reviewed, and its quality markers were predicted to provide reference for its further study and application. |
