| Abstract:The main active ingredients of Rosa laevigata Michx. are triterpenoids, total flavonoids, and polysaccharides, which have various pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, liver protection, anti-tumor, anti Alzheimer's disease, neuroprotective, hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering, and kidney protection.Triterpenoids are the characteristic bioactive substances in Rosa laevigata Michx., with pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-hepatic fibrosis, anti-tumor, anti-Alzheimer's disease, neuroprotection and so on. A large number of literatures have reported the study of the composition of triterpenoids in Rosa laevigata Michx., and this paper comprehensively reviews the chemical composition of triterpenoids and pharmacological effects of the main active ingredients in Rosa laevigata Michx. to improve the reference for the in-depth study. |
