Abstract:Objective:Taking intensive field cultivation as a reference, this study systematically explored the differences in the quality of Astragalus membranaceus(A.membranaceus ), as well as the ecological, economic, and social benefits between two ecological planting modes: imitation wild cultivation and rotation cultivation. Methods:The morphological indicators of A.membranaceus were measured by means of vernier calipers, electronic scales, etc., and the contents of 10 pharmacodynamic components (including astragaloside IV, astragalus polysaccharide and four flavonoid glycosides along with their respective aglycones, notably calycosin-7-O-glucoside) were determined by HPLC and ultraviolet spectrophotometer. The quality of A.membranaceus under different planting patterns was evaluated based on the morphological indicators and the contents of pharmacodynamic components. In addition, through systematic research and comparison of different planting modes, the ecological, economic, and social benefits of A.membranaceus were evaluated to assess their comprehensive benefits. Results:Imitation wild cultivation of A.membranaceus is the best during the planting modes, which has high-quality traits of "thick and long strips with few branches". Its contents of the active ingredients significantly higher than those of intensive field cultivation and rotation cultivation of A.membranaceus (P<0.05); The ecological benefit index is superior to the other two modes (P<0.01), with a higher average annual profit (3,507 yuan) and the highest agricultural labor productivity (1,892 yuan). The planting advantages of imitating wild cultivation of A.membranaceus with "good quality of medicinal materials" and "good comprehensive benefits" have been explored. The quality of A.membranaceus cultivated through crop rotation is comparable to that of A.membranaceus cultivated intensively in the field, and its average annual profit (4,295 yuan) and agricultural labor productivity (1,679 yuan) are higher, showing better comprehensive benefits. Conclusion:The two ecological planting modes of imitating wild cultivation and crop rotation cultivation of A.membranaceu have advantages compared with intensive field cultivation, which has guiding significance for the selection of A.membranaceus planting modes. |
